8 years old - very large cavity
Children's Dental Group is proud for its professionalism and for the care it gives to every child that steps into our offices. Your child will too be very happy and relieved after the first visit to Children's Dental Group.
Before
8 years old with a very large cavity on upper left 2nd primary molar and two smaller cavities on adjacent teeth. Cavities caused from lack of proper brushing and not having regular exam by a dentist.

It is very critical that you teach your children to brush and floss their teeth - from a very young age. Here is a great article about Brushing and Flossing.
After
Because of extensive cavities, root canal treatment and a stainless steel crown was placed on the tooth and metal fillings were place on the adjacent teeth. This type of crown will withstand chewing forces for many years until it is replaced by permanent tooth.
